Katie Borchers, President

Katie is a native Upstate New Yorker who attended the University of Buffalo for her BS in Nursing and Roberts Wesleyan College for her Masters of Health Administration.

She spent her career building a portfolio of expertise, pivoting into various careers. Starting as a pediatric nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital to using her clinical knowledge for URMC's Epic project as an instructional designer and trainer, she moved into a Project Director position where she has implemented training for multiple go lives, including revenue cycle and F.F. Thompson Hospital. In this role, she had oversight and implementation of a virtual training module, various program improvement initiatives, as well as leadership of a team of instructional designers. 

Katie believes that authenticity, honesty, and integrity are the building blocks to any relationship. She also believes that our greatest talents should be used to give back to our community. She uses her organizational and project management skills in Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and other organizations.

Christopher Ball, Chief Financial Officer

Chris is a business leader and technologist who has focused his career on improving processes and performance through the application of technology.  His experience includes having successfully established multiple software development teams and completed multi-million dollar improvement projects for several of the account receivable industry’s largest government contractors.  Chris leveraged this experience to found his first company in 2019, providing technology development and consulting services.  As a co-founder of Beyond Green Solutions, Chris furthers the mantra of service beyond expectations by creating client, consumer and employee experiences that are unique in the industry.

 

Chris earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from SUNY Geneseo, his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and his MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business.

 

Chris believes in creating great teams and great communities where individuals can flourish through a positive and collaborative environment.  He regularly volunteers with youth organizations such as Scouts BSA and FIRST Lego League as well as business support organizations such as NextCorps and the Rochester Professional Consultants Network.

Billy Rue, VP of Business Development

Billy Rue is an experienced business developer, a serial entrepreneur, and an influential leader with a proven track record of identifying market opportunities, starting-up and sustaining operations, and achieving revenue growth.

 

For nearly 25 years, Billy has maintained a passion for bringing new ideas to market, from concept to commercialization. He began his entrepreneurial career by launching a high-end detailing service for automobiles and yachts. He expanded his career vision and co-founded Seneca Surgical, Inc., where he served as President for 15 years. During his tenure, Billy co-founded an additional distributorship, focusing on the pharmaceutical industry, and held the role of Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Billy then went on to be the CEO and co-founder of the Evelo Agency, a Coworking Consultancy. In his most recent venture, Billy was CEO and an Executive Advisor at his consulting firm—Launch 5 Business Advisory. Tapping his instinctive market acuity and leveraging his practical experiences to help executives and managers advance their organizational goals.

 

Today, Billy serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Beyond Green Solutions, where he is responsible for expanding the company’s brand presence in existing markets, as well as, creating new growth initiatives to increase market penetration.
